About the Store

The Martinborough Wine Centre is a showcase for the wines and wineries of the Wairarapa region. It has become the central hub of many of the local wine industry activities.

While wine production in Martinborough & Wairarapa may be small - approximately 2% of New Zealand's production - many of the country's finest wineries at the ultra-premium end of the market originate from here.

Although it is the exceptional Pinot Noir that has put the region on the world wine map, Wairarapa also produces outstanding Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Gris and Bordeaux blends.

Each month we showcase a local winery, offer complementary tasting of these wines and sell these at a discounted price. We also ship wines worldwide and offer a 10% discount on case purchases. A large range of local produce is also available:

Hampers and gift vouchers are also available. Store hours: open 7 days, 10.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. The Wine Centre is closed on Xmas day, Boxing Day, Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
